Keepon was on display at ICT 2008, the European Commission’s biennial forum for discussing research and public policy in information and communications technology. The event was held at Lyon’s Centre de Congrès from November 25-27.

Keepon was at the stand of our collaborators in the Feelix Growing project.

Development and Brain Systems in Autism

We demonstrated Keepon at yesterday’s reception for the 35th Carnegie Symposium on Cognition: Development and Brain Systems in Autism. Temple Grandin was a speaker, along with a host of scientists who gave truly high-quality talks about the latest genetics, brain imaging, and behavioral research on autism.

Keepon at WIRED NextFest 2008

We’re exhibiting Keepon at this year’s WIRED NextFest in Chicago’s Millennium Park just next to the big shiny bean. Slightly different than last year’s format, this year’s event lasts two weeks (September 27-October 12) and is free and open to the public every day from 11am-7pm (except Thursdays, when the hours are 12pm-8pm, and Mondays, when it’s closed).

UPDATE: We’d like to thank the over 70,000 visitors for coming to check out NextFest!

Robot 250 is a part of Pittsburgh’s 250th anniversary celebrations. This weekend was the Block Party, a showcase of robots at the Carnegie Science Center. Keepon was on display yesterday and today — including our new dance game.
